LIFTING AS WE CLIMB
The Cleveland Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. originated in the name of The Black Accountants Society of Ohio, Inc. (BASO) in 1969. The latter was accomplished primarily through the efforts of the late Mr. Edwin J. Williams, a staff member of the Greater Cleveland Growth Association at the time.

NABA-Cleve is currently building a portal that will allow current members to communicate with each other securely, share information, schedule events, promote services, etc. Our goal with our new website is to add an ease of use to all things NABA-Cleveland and this new portal will help us all achieve just that
NABA Cleveland announces its newest offering to association members—a Web-based career center that connects job seekers with prospective employers in the related business fields of accounting, finance and consulting. Coming soon!
One of the most significant objectives of NABA is to assist minority students entering the fields of accounting, finance and business. The Cleveland Chapter of NABA supports this meaningful objective with programs and scholarships for both high school and college students.
On both the national and regional levels, NABA has a long history of partnering with leading corporations. We have a great need to further develop the relationships with corporations with a presence in Northeast Ohio that partner on national and/or regional level to our local Chapter. We must also enter into partnering relationships with corporations that are new to NABA.
